Poems with pictures

The Giant's Causeway, County Antrim

In cathedrals nowadays

People often have difficulties

Knowing exactly where to look,

And what to do.

This natural cathedral by the sea

Makes for none of these kinds of worries.

Everybody reads it without thinking,

Walking, climbing, looking, wondering.

I stood on the Middle Causeway,

Took some serious photos of the hexagonal rocks

And wondered about the sea.

Then I waved to my father

Standing on the Small Causeway.

That seemed exactly the right thing to do.
