But is it poetry?

Really it's just

A rambling yarn

With words pinned

Down,

Tightly,

Oddly,

For effect.

Ah .... maybe.

But when the last full stop's

Been hammered in

You turn the sound down

Noiselessly

A bell is struck

To reverberate In space and air

A firework's launched

Blankness tips over Into colour

Spied through a window

Where waves crash down

On others' ears.

And on a cheek a single tear drops down.
